Who Should Wear Men's 2 Button Suits

Men’s 2 button suits accentuate most body types. Two-button suits are the choice for men who want to look a little taller. Owing to its frame lengthening properties, a two-button suit suits all builds and is considered the ideal choice for those with a short torso as it elongates the torso, making you look taller.

Men's 2 Button Suits

The Two-Button Suits Rule
For the two-button suit, the rule is simple: the top button should remain buttoned while the bottom button must be left undone. Even if you feel like buttoning them both, don’t! Leaving the bottom button undone will allow you easy movement and won’t restrict you.

Exceptions for Never Button the Bottom Button Rule
Men who are tall may button up the lower button as this prevents the exposure of the belt buckle and trouser front and also keeps the suit from spreading out above their waist. Similarly, when wearing a high-stance 2-button suit, have the lower button buttoned so it looks more proportionate. Men who are fond of long lapels may button up the lower button to elongate the lapel of their suit.

A two-button suit is recommended for individuals who are going for a job interview as it has a slightly informal look as compared to a 3-button suit.

Thus, a 2-button suit complements most body shapes and heights and can prove be a good addition to your wardrobe to be worn to different occasions. So, you should consider buying one or maybe a couple for yourself to wear to corporate events and weddings, etc.

Things to Consider While Buying Men Suit

Before you venture out to buy yourself a men suit, you should know the purpose you are buying the suit for. Of course no single suit can meet all your needs. Men Suit

The best thing about suits is you can wear them with your jeans, and t-shirt. The bottom–line is whatever your purpose for buying the suit, purchase according to the occasion as there are many different varieties of suits available.
You may also consider taking someone along. This way you get an opinion about whether or not the suit suits you. Don’t rely on the salesperson for the opinion as he/she may not give you a non-biased opinion. Though knowing your size may help you shop for the perfect suit but selecting one which fits perfectly is more important.

The suit should hug your shoulders and its shoulder pads, by no means, should be protruding beyond your shoulders. The suit should also fit your chest and you should be able to button it without straining the material. Make sure there isn’t too much space between your chest and the buttons.

Check the length of the suit. Ideally, you should be able to cup your fingers under your suit’s sides. Now decide whether you would like to buy a one-button, two-button or three-button suit. Considering all these factors will help you reach an informed decision and guide you on the type of suit you should buy for yourself. Happy Shopping!
