Men’s Vested Suits

The best thing about wearing  men's vested suits, besides adding to your looks, is its practical aspects. To put it simply, wearing a vest frees you from worrying about your shirt. When you are wearing a vest, you don’t have to worry about whether or not your shirt is tucked in properly or not. All you need to worry about after wearing a vest is your shirt collar being the right size and your sleeves being the right length.

Therefore, on a particular day when you are not wearing the best of shirts, a vest may come to your rescue. Adding to this aspect is the feeling wearing a vest gives you. It is a feeling of confidence. In case you like to leave the buttons of your suit undone, a safer approach would be to add a vest to your wardrobe.

However, it is important that your vest is tailored perfectly. Putting on a vest which is not tailored properly may not look good. Besides, a vest which is loose around the chest area will fail to hold your tie in place. Similarly, a vest which is too tight will make it difficult for you to breathe and will be a source of constant discomfort.

Moreover, the length of the waistcoat should ensure no shirt is showing between the vest and the belt. You should wear a well-fitted shirt and tuck it in to avoid an undesirable ballooning affect. The bottom button of the waistcoat should be left undone. However, leaving the top button undone is optional. The vest should be worn with a necktie and should match your suit while the V-shape of the vest should not be entirely hidden by the suit lapel.

No doubt vests are gaining popularity again and are becoming an indispensable component of the traditional men’s suit.
